Ghosts
In Cine Fantasma, a note at the opening of the short film – "Travel diary: Pirenopolis, 2022" – indicates how its production began. Three years after capturing footage during a trip through the Serra dos Pireneus (in Goias, Brazil), Amanda Carrilho gathered the videos that had been left aside until then, creating the experimental documentary in which she suggests stories through these almost forgotten fragments.
Synopsis
Travel records transforms into a dreamlike narrative, where mundane scenes intertwine with landscapes and elements of nature, weaving an atmosphere where the real gradually dissolves into the fantastic.
